GW Glasses

So I fell in love with Gok's collection when trying on glasses, its modern, stylish and full of confidence. The glasses have so much personality to them.

"We're not going to hide behind our specs. My new range makes a real statement. Strong, sexy and glamorous - from now on, your outfit begins with your glasses." Gok Wan

One thing that I really enjoy is giving presents and when I came across this classy Ted Baker bag, I knew it was the perfect bag for my Mum. I would describe her style as classy and elegant, she looks like Audrey Hepburn.

Beauty Box

So my makeup has been majorly unorganised recently and it's got to the point that I have been spending way too much time rummaging for makeup instead of using it!

I love being creative with storage so I was so happy when I found this cute little box from TK Maxx for around £5-£8. In order to protect the box from getting dirty from all the makeup, I bought perfumed draw liners to place in the bottom. The draw liners were also from TK Maxx and were £3.99.

Wedding Outfit

So recently I had the privileged of attending my friends wedding and witnessing them dedicate themselves to one another and it was so lovely to see.

I was having difficulty finding a dress that fit me well, I had looked in so many shops and was starting to think that I may not find anything. I noticed that Karen Millen was having a sale and I found a lovely dress that fitted me perfectly! A good fit really does make such a difference.

RiRiWoo

On Friday the 3rd of May 2013 MAC's new lipstick RiRiWoo was released online and sold out just three hours after release. I have to say I fell head over heals with this lipstick, I love the bold colour which so perfectly suits everyone. It is matte in texture and is such a statement lipstick. I was so excited when it arrived, I even got an extra one so that I did not run out!

Crepe City

I headed down to Crep City in Shoreditch last weekend. This was my first time at the sneaker convention so I was very intrigued to see how the event was run. To be honest, I think the organisation of the event could have been improved, the demand to get in the venue and the length of the wait was pretty ridiculous, but of course each year there will be improvements and this was only the third year running.

Valentines

When I found this dress in the January sales I thought that it was perfect for Valentines. It was such a bargain and there is definitely no need to pay more when you can find some great items in the sales. I didn't know what exactly I was looking for but when I found it, I knew it was the one.

One of the things that I love about the dress is that the pattern is designed to compliment the shape of the body. I also find the appearance of black lace attractive and liked how the pattern on the dress mimicked this.

Live Life

Sometimes we need to take a moment to remember the most important things in life. You can't take your career or your possessions with you, they mean nothing when you die, but when we are old we can cherish our memories.

Do the things that you want to do this year, if you want to start a blog, then start a blog! If you want to start learning something new, then do it! The time is here and now!
One of the first things that I did this year, which I never thought I would ever do was to hold a Chilean Rose Tarantula. I really don't like spiders and I usually wouldn't have gone anywhere near it. When I was asked if I wanted to hold it, I thought to myself, I am never in a million years going to consider doing this again, it is now or never! It just happened to be the right atmosphere, with the right people at the the right time. Knowing that it was in a controlled environment and I had someone watching over, I decided to push myself. When you push yourself you will be surprised at what you can achieve.

Wild Horses

This time of year gives us January Sales. Who doesn't love a good sale!? If you have a good look around, sometimes you can find some really good items for a decent price.

This jacket was on sale from Asos and my top was on sale from TK Maxx - Un Secret Du Papilon.
Bag - River Island
