It's nearly that time of year again, Valentines Day. We tend to celebrate love as a fluttery emotion with roses and chocolates (which are always lovely to receive!) but if we really push ourselves to go deeper, we realise love is an action, we choose to love. I think we all have a responsibility to try and understand each other, myself included, I am definitely not perfect.
I have never previously tried an automatic curler so I was very excited to try out the Moonstone automatic hair curler by Irresistible Me! I love curling my hair because it's always nice to have a little more body! So it was great to try out a new way of achieving a full and curly look. The automatic curler comes with a cleaning brush and a water bottle to add the water for the steaming option. The Moonstone curler comes with an american plug so depending on where you live a plug adapter may be necessary.
My relationship with new years is very hit and miss, I think this is because I think too much. It's natural to wonder what the year ahead will bring, and also to consider what the year gone by has taught us. A lot has changed in 2016 and I can only hope that the year to come will be a good one with many blessings. It's important to look back and be thankful for all the good things from the year. We should always be thankful for our health, that we are here to experience another year with one another.
I think as women, many of us underestimate ourselves. If we actually believe in ourselves and consider ourselves as serious contenders, we would be amazed at what we could achieve. Most of us have so much more to offer than what we realise, and we tend to sell ourselves short.
As it is December, I think it's about time to get Christmassy! Last weekend we went to check out the Christmas market in Nottingham and I thought I would share a few photographs with you. Not only does the market have some cute little stalls, but there is an ice rink, an ice bar and quite a lot of yummy food! I enjoyed a hotdog and couldn't say no to some tasty pancakes smeared in Nutella! Being mid day, I decided to give the mulled wine and cider a miss.
